A private mountain reimagined for modern legacy families
Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain is New England’s only private ski-and-golf community. Born from the historic Haystack ski area, the Club was re-envisioned as an intimate, service-obsessed retreat where every detail — from warmed boots to slope-side sommeliers — is handled.
Members enjoy ski-in/ski-out residences, a 80,000 sq ft Clubhouse, mid-mountain restaurant, spa, ice rink, and summer lake club. It’s Deer Valley service meets Vermont soul — 2.5 hours from Boston, 4 from New York.

The Mountain

Four high-speed lifts including the legendary Barnstormer — a heated 6-passenger bubble with Wi-Fi. 55 trails from gentle learners to double-black glades, 95% snowmaking, night skiing, and a private tubing hill.

Heated seats, retractable dome, 7-minute ride from base to 2,400 ft. Ski valet loads your skis while you sip espresso.
Best Grooming East
Prinoth fleet grooms nightly. Corduroy at 8am sharp, powder stashes preserved in The Glades and Showtime bowl.

We are 100% private. No day tickets, no public. That means 2-minute lift rides even on Presidents’ Weekend, private lessons without booking wars, and dinner reservations that always honor members first.
Can I visit before joining?
Yes — qualified families are invited for a Discovery Tour with a mountain host, private ski day, lunch at the Clubhouse and residence walk-through. Use the form below.
Is the Club year-round?
Absolutely. Winter: ski, snowboard, tubing, ice skating. Summer: 18-hole golf, lake club, mountain biking, concerts on the green and farm-to-table dinners.
